Il meeting

20-21 Maggio 2027. Il meeting annuale GISM si svolgerà nella splendida Parma.

Il programma sarà suddiviso su 2 giornate e comprenderà varie sessioni dedicate ai ricercatori coinvolti nella produzione e applicazione delle MSC in ambito clinico, veterinario e della ricerca in generale.

È stato mantenuto un costo accessibile ed è stata offerta ai giovani ricercatori la possibilità di vincere un premio personale. Le regole per la preparazione e la sottomissione degli abstract, le istruzioni per la registrazione e tutti i costi saranno presto riportate nel seguente sito:

PROGRAMMA

Inclusion and Equity in MSC Translational Medicine

A Next-Generation Interactive Workshop

Empowering young researchers working on Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) to build more inclusive, equitable and responsible translational research.

Key Themes

• Innovation and access in the translational journey of ATMPs
• AI, data equity and precision medicine
• Inclusive and responsible translational research
• Gender equity, ethics and inclusion in biomedical research

Interactive activities, working groups and co-creation will take place throughout the workshop.

Participation

The workshop is open to everyone. Students, PhD candidates, postdoctoral researchers, clinicians and researchers are all welcome.

Participation is free, but registration is required. Only 40 places are available. Priority will be given to young researchers who submit an abstract and to participants who commit to attending both days.

Young Researcher Awards

Two awards of €1,500 each will be presented to selected young researchers who submit an abstract.

Call for Abstracts

Young researchers are invited to submit an abstract presenting their basic, preclinical, translational or clinical research in the fields of Mesenchymal Stromal Cells (MSCs), Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Abstracts that explicitly address clinical translatability, inclusion, equity and ethics in research, the use of AI, patient engagement, diversity or related areas will receive particular consideration during the selection process.

Authors of selected abstracts will be invited to give an oral presentation during the workshop and will be eligible for the Young Researcher Awards.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

The abstract must clearly identify the presenting author and include:

• Title: maximum 200 characters
• Authors and affiliations
• Objective
• Materials and Methods
• Results
• Conclusions
• Acknowledgments: if necessary

The maximum abstract length is 2,500 characters, including spaces. This limit applies only to the abstract body and excludes the title, authors, affiliations, references and acknowledgments.

Eligibility for the Young Researcher Awards

• Applicants must be under 40 years of age at the time of abstract submission.
• Each presenting author may submit only one abstract.
• If selected, the presenting author must attend the workshop and present the work in person.
• The winner must attend the award ceremony. Failure to attend will result in disqualification from receiving the prize.
